Students-
Since we are reading the story "Antarctic
Ice" by Jim Mastro this week in reading, I would like you to become more familiar with other animals who live in Antarctica.
We will be doing a project to help you learn
more about those animals. With a partner, you will choose one animal who lives in Antarctica to research. Find 8-10 facts
about that animal; you must have pictures to go with each fact. Pictures from the internet may be used, but you must say where
you got them from. You also must use at least 2 vocabulary words from the "robust vocabulary" section of our story.
Below, there is a link to show you an example of what your video should look like.
Please do not worry about making the
video, I will be showing you how to do it in class. I have chosen Emperor Penguin Chicks as an example so, you may still
do your project on Emperor Penguins, however, you may not talk about their chicks. Click on the link below to see my
